BlackBerry Playbook First on Display in Bali. Research In Motion (RIM) will showcase Playbook in Asia’s first BlackBerry Developer Conference in Bali on 13 to 14 January 2011. In the event, RIM invites software developers from various countries to find out more on how to develop applications for the tablet device.
“Playbook will be introduced for the first time in Asia during the event,” said Oliver Philgerstorfer, Senior Public Relations Manager South East Asian rim when accompanying Southeast Asia Managing Director of RIM’s Gregory Wade in talks with the media here on Thursday (12/16/2010) .

He said the event BlackBerry devcon blind Asia is a good opportunity for developers to explore the tablet BlackBerry platform in addition to the BlackBerry OS 6 that the power of RIM’s latest smartphone is made today. They can learn more about application development for BlackBerry is the latest Playbook and learn more about using the Tablet OS BlackBerry to the Adobe AIR SDK as well as Adobe Flash Builder.
RIM officials also will attend the event. Main Speakers already confirmed his arrival in the event include Gregory Wade – Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Tyler Lessard – Vice President, Global Alliances and Developer Relations, Mike Kirkup – Director, Developer Relations, and Chris Smith – Senior Director, the BlackBerry Developer Platform.
BlackBerry Playbook is the first tablet device made by RIM that is designed to provide web access experience perfectly. The tool will be released next year.
