RIM Confirms BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 Release Date
RIM has taken to its website to ensure that the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 release time will be in March 2012.
The business says that the OS has been late "until we are self-confident we have totally met the expectations" of its buyers and designers, obviously excited to keep away from yet another mistake after a list of problems over the last several weeks.
RIM has also determined that building BBM right on to the pill will have to delay until "a following BlackBerry PlayBook OS release".
The business has not given a cause, but it appears to be as though RIM’s having a area of trouble getting it to, you know, work:
"We are devoted to building a easy BBM option that totally provides on the highly effective, force dependent message features accepted now by BlackBerry people worldwide and we’re still performing on it," Mark Jackson, person VP of BlackBerry PlayBook, authored in a writing.
The much-maligned QNX-running pill has been the topic of much issue over the last few several weeks, with many pondering the near potential of RIM’s pill variety after the Corporation Decreased The PlayBook Prices.
But RIM is still commited to the PlayBook – at least for now: "We anticipate to offer the new BlackBerry PlayBook OS to buyers in March 2012."
